Highlights

Roadside Station Toyosaki (道の駅 豊崎) is a roadside stop in Tomigusuku City. The city says it is about 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It has an Information Station, JA Okinawa Shokusaikan Nanairobatake (菜々色畑), and Tiguma-kan (てぃぐま館), which sells crafts. Stop for travel information at the start of a trip or shop before heading home.

    Why I like it

    Reasons to stop here

    01

    Choose local produce at Nanairobatake

Nanairobatake is open from 9:00 to 18:00. It sells vegetables and fruit from Tomigusuku and elsewhere in Okinawa Prefecture, as well as processed foods, meat and other items. Mangoes are sold during the shipping season; timing and quantities vary, so they are not always available.

    02

    Explore travel information and crafts

At the Information Station, you can find tourism brochures and check road, weather and flight information. Tiguma-kan (てぃぐま館; “tiguma” is an Okinawan word for handicraft) has Uji-zome items, textiles dyed with sugarcane. Craft experiences require a reservation. Each shop has its own hours, which differ from those of the Information Station.
