Michi-no-Eki Mie stands along National Route 326 in the Mie-machi area of Bungo-Ono City, Oita Prefecture. Its produce hall sells local vegetables and specialty products, and there are places to eat. The station is known for its view of 江内戸の景; you can combine a shopping stop with a break to enjoy the scenery. Here, Mie refers to the local place name in Oita, not Mie Prefecture.
The shop is open 9:00–18:00 from March through October and until 17:00 from November through February. Seasonal vegetable and strawberry picking is also described on adjacent farmland; ask the facility in advance about the dates and how to join.
Gourmet Street has several places to eat, and hours vary by business. The official website also posts notices about new businesses and events, so check which places are open that day if you plan to eat here.
