A mountain-side roadside station where you can combine the history of the Besshi Copper Mine, a hot spring, and sweet treats in one visit.

Michi-no-Eki Maintopia Besshi is in the Hadeba area, developed from the former Besshi Copper Mine site. With a mine train and sightseeing mine tunnel, gold panning, Besshi Onsen hot spring baths, and the indoor Akagane Kids Park, it offers activities as well as dining and shopping.
Ride the Besshi No. 1 mine train and visit the sightseeing mine tunnel to trace the history of the Besshi Copper Mine. You can also try gold panning and choose which attractions to visit.
Restaurant Mori no Kaze is on the second floor of the main building, and the shop is on the first. After a meal, you can browse souvenirs from Niihama and Ehime.
Besshi Onsen “Tenku no Yu,” a hot spring bathing facility, is on the fourth floor of the main building. Shampoo and body soap are not provided as standard; bring your own or buy them at the front desk.
