Before or after flights, airport drop-offs, and pickups
Fit bathing and a meal around Takamatsu Airport
About five minutes by car from the airport, the station works for a soak soon after landing, a meal after dropping someone off, or extra souvenirs before departure. The baths stay open late, but dining and shops close earlier, so check their hours first if you intend to eat.
Takamatsu Airport → bathing and a meal at Konan Rakuyu → homeward journey, or Konan Rakuyu → Takamatsu Airport
Allow plenty of time before boarding if you bathe before a flight. The baths' parking area is listed as closing at 23:00, so do not plan to linger at night.
Morning-to-lunchtime visits for food and shopping
Shop at the morning market, then have Olive Beef and Olive Pork for lunch
Browse vegetables, fruit, flowers, and prepared foods at Konan Morning Market, then head to Rakuyu Shunsai for an Olive hamburger steak at lunchtime. The market is not a late-afternoon destination, so visit it first when shopping is your priority.
Konan Morning Market → souvenir shop → Rakuyu Shunsai → baths or departure
The market generally closes on Wednesdays and over the New Year holidays; Rakuyu Shunsai generally closes on the third Wednesday. Earlier visits offer a better selection of vegetables and prepared foods.
Half-day drives with children
Wash away the sweat together after Sanuki Kodomo no Kuni
Play at Sanuki Kodomo no Kuni or Sanuki Airport Park from morning into the afternoon, then return to Konan Rakuyu in the evening. For elementary-school children, checking the weekly Friday Kids' Day information makes it easier to include bathing in the day's plan.
Sanuki Kodomo no Kuni → Sanuki Airport Park → bathing and light meals at Konan Rakuyu
Some play facilities close on Mondays or Thursdays. Keep spare clothes and towels in the car during sweaty seasons.
Food experiences with a local character
Combine your visit with harvesting at Konan Agream
Try seasonal harvesting or goat feeding at Konan Agream, then move on to a meal and a soak at Konan Rakuyu. Harvesting depends on the weather and crop conditions, so check reception hours and available activities before visiting.
Konan Morning Market → Konan Agream → Konan Rakuyu
Reception for farming activities is generally 9:00–14:30. Closed Wednesdays; check in advance for group visits.
Drives on Prefectural Route 13 and National Route 193
Take a break on the way to or from Shionoe
Combine toilets, souvenirs, light meals, and bathing before or after driving between central Takamatsu and Shionoe. Even without a soak, you can make a short stop at Konan Morning Market or the souvenir shop along the prefectural road.
Central Takamatsu → Konan Rakuyu → Shionoe area, or the reverse
Use nighttime parking only for a break; do not use it for sleeping in your vehicle.
