    Why I like it

    Reasons to stop here

    01

Shop for farm produce and processed foods

Inesu Market (いねす市) sells local farm produce, and atsuage (厚揚げ, thick deep-fried tofu) is also featured as a souvenir. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism lists the market’s hours as 8:00–17:00, with shorter hours in winter.

    02

Check the hours for dining and activities separately

The restaurant offers dishes made with tofu, beans and miso. Hands-on classes require reservations. Hours differ between the community exchange center, restaurant and market, so check the schedule for the facility you plan to visit.
