Michi-no-Eki Ayama is on Prefectural Route 49 in Iga City. Its produce and specialty goods areas sell vegetables, pottery and other local products. At the Sasayuri restaurant, you can choose udon noodles with Iga beef, while the Torta Rosso bakery outlet sells bread made in Iga. You can combine shopping with lunch here.

Sasayuri serves Iga beef udon (wheat noodles with Iga beef) and an Iga beef udon set meal. The Torta Rosso bakery outlet sells bread whose selection changes with the seasons, including bread to take away.
From April 2 through October 31, 2026, the station is listed as open from 9:00 to 18:00, while Sasayuri is listed as open from 9:00 to 17:00. If you plan to eat there, allow for the restaurant closing before the station.
