Why I like it

Reasons to stop here

01

Choose products made with makomo

The shop carries makomo somen (thin wheat noodles), dorayaki (sweet filled pancakes), waffles and throat lozenges. Alongside these foods, you can compare Banko ware pottery and local farm produce when choosing souvenirs.

02

Get visitor information for the Yunoyama area

The first floor has shopping and tourist information; the Komono Town Tourism Association is on the second floor. Gather information about the town before or after visiting Yunoyama Onsen (hot springs) or the Gozaisho area.

03

Plan your stop around shopping

The former Makomo no Sato dining area closed in August 2020. Plan to browse souvenirs and gather tourist information rather than count on having lunch inside the building.
