Noda salt, made by boiling seawater directly, is a Noda Village specialty. Find it with vegetables brought in by farmers every morning and local prepared foods at the farm and local products market (9:00–18:00).
The dining hall opens at 11:00 and takes last orders at 14:30. Alongside Noda salt ramen, it lists set meals and curry made with Nanbu Fukubuta pork or wild grapes.
Available 9:30–17:00 (until 16:30 in winter), this specialty can also be enjoyed outside dining hall hours.
Look for wine made with wild grapes grown in the village and GI-registered Araumi scallops. Consider your travel time when choosing chilled products.
Four sites with 100 V power cost ¥2,000 per night, from noon to noon the next day. Reservations are requested by the previous day; same-day use is possible if a site is available.
Michi-no-Eki Noda, nicknamed Paapuru (ぱあぷる), is Noda Village’s roadside station, relocated near Noda IC on the Sanriku Coastal Road on June 20, 2025. Its farm and local products market stocks vegetables delivered by farmers each morning, Noda salt made by boiling seawater directly, wine made from 100% wild grapes, and GI-registered Araumi scallops, among other village products. In the food hall, you can have dishes such as Noda salt ramen and the signature Noda salt soft serve. The toilet building and coin-operated showers are available 24 hours a day; a rapid EV charger and campervan sites make it useful both for breaks on drives toward Kuji or Miyako and as a base for a longer stay.

Reasons to stop here
Find Noda Village’s salt, seafood and mountain produce in one market
The farm and local products market is open from 9:00 to 18:00. Alongside seasonal vegetables brought in by farmers every morning, it stocks Noda salt made by the traditional direct-boiling method, wine made from 100% wild grapes grown in the village, GI-registered Araumi scallops, and local prepared foods such as handmade tofu dengaku (tofu grilled with a savory glaze) and nishime (simmered vegetables). It also sells Marine Rose jewelry made from rhodonite. Credit cards and various cashless payment methods are accepted.
Noda salt ramen and Noda salt soft serve anchor the food hall
The dining hall opens at 11:00 and takes last orders at 14:30. Its listed dishes include Noda salt ramen, Noda dried-sardine ramen, a set meal of fried chicken marinated in Noda salt koji, a Nanbu Fukubuta pork ginger set meal, and wild-grape pork curry. The signature Noda salt soft serve is sold from 9:30 to 17:00, or until 16:30 in winter, so it is also an option outside dining hall hours. Jiyu Kobo, the shared kitchen, may host vendors such as a weekday-morning breakfast service; offerings change, so check notices on the official website.
