Local Urahoro products in a small larch-built building

The building has a warm wooden interior made with larch. Its sales focus is produce grown or harvested in Urahoro Town, seafood landed there, and goods processed there. Look for vegetables, seafood, and products containing gyōja ninniku, a strongly flavored wild garlic.

03

Take away a snack and sit inside or on the terrace

The snack counter sells hot dogs made with gyōja ninniku wild-garlic sausage, fresh-caramel soft serve, cream puffs made with Urahoro milk, and Urahoro daifuku, a filled rice cake. Chairs and tables inside and on the terrace let you eat your purchase there.

04

Turn a rest stop into outdoor time at the neighboring forest park

Adjacent Urahoro Forest Park has an auto campsite, bungalows, a park-golf course, outdoor activity equipment, and walking trails. It operates from April 29 through October 31 and is unavailable in winter. Park golf is a short-course game played with one club and a larger ball.
